About the role:

We’re on the hunt for an Underwriter Assistant to join our team.


You'll play a pivotal role in ensuring the efficiency and accuracy of the underwriting process at CFC Australia. This position provides essential administrative support to the underwriting team, enabling them to focus on high-value decision-making and risk assessment.


This is an excellent opportunity for a foundational administrator to make a move into the insurance world, and make a positive impact on our team. Hands-on training in underwriting terminology, processes and on-going support will be provided. We are looking for an applicant that can work effectively in a team environment and has a strong customer service focus.


Responsibilities of the role include

  • Assist with contacting our brokers as directed - phone and email
  • Create pre-renewal quotes for underwriter approval
  • Create Template quotes as directed
  • Process endorsements as required with guidance from underwriter
  • Liaise with various departments to ensure details are correct, and communicated well
