Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and visionary Vice President of Culinary Services to lead our culinary operations with passion and expertise. This leadership role involves overseeing all food-related services across our communities, ensuring exceptional quality, safety, and customer satisfaction. The VP of Culinary Services will inspire culinary teams, drive innovation in food offerings, and uphold the highest standards in food safety and hospitality.
This position will work with all of our communities across Ohio and will lead a regional team to establish culinary excellence and make our culinary services a standout! This position will require travel 50% of the time to communities and other off site meeting needs.
This position comes with a starting negotiable salary of $105,000.00 annually

Responsibilies:
- Develop and implement strategic culinary initiatives that enhance resident satisfaction and operational efficiency
- Lead, mentor, and manage culinary teams across multiple locations, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement
- Oversee all aspects of food production, preparation, and service, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and dietary guidelines
- Collaborate with clinical and management teams to tailor menus that meet diverse dietary needs and preferences
- Maintain high standards in food handling, sanitation, and safety protocols to ensure a safe dining environment
- Manage budgets, inventory control, vendor relationships, and procurement processes for all culinary operations
- Drive innovation in food offerings by incorporating current culinary trends, local ingredients, and resident feedback
Requirements
Skills
- Extensive experience in food production, cooking, and food preparation within Long term care or in a healthcare settings
- Proven management skills with a track record of supervising culinary teams effectively
- Strong knowledge of food safety regulations, sanitation practices, and dietary requirements
- Experience in restaurant management or food service management with a focus on customer service excellence
- Ability to lead shift management activities while maintaining high-quality standards in a fast-paced environment
- Demonstrated leadership in hospitality management or kitchen management roles within the food industry
- Familiarity with catering, banquet services, or dietary department operations is highly desirable
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate across departments and engage with residents’ needs effectively
