This position will work directly with our communities located in and around Waterville, Ohio on a PRN, as needed basis.
Summary
We are seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our compassionate team at our Certus Healthcare Management Communities. In this role, you will play a vital part in assisting patients with their rehabilitation goals, contributing to our mission of delivering high-quality care in a supportive environment.
This position will work directly will our communities in the Waterville, Ohio and surrounding area.
This position comes with a starting pay rate of $30 an hour
This is a PRN, as needed position based on the caseload of the communities. Our case load is growing and additional team members are needed!

Responsibilities
- Assist occupational therapists in implementing treatment plans for patients.
- Support residents in daily activities to enhance their independence and quality of life.
- Monitor patient progress and report any changes to the occupational therapist.
- Educate patients and their families on therapeutic techniques and exercises.
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient care and progress notes.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care.
Requirements
Requirements
- Certification as an Occupational Therapy Assistant from an accredited program.
- Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology.
- Experience in geriatrics or skilled nursing facilities preferred.
- Ability to develop and implement effective care plans for diverse patient populations.
- Excellent communication skills and a compassionate approach to patient care.
