Role: Senior Frontend Engineer

As a Senior Frontend Engineer, you’ll contribute hands-on to our provider intelligence platform and products that are used directly by our customers and their end users. If you want to have a hand in influencing the design and architecture of our systems with a collaborative team then this role is for you.

What you’ll do:

1. Develop and maintain the applications that make up our highly available systems
2. You will contribute to software design and architecture, build reusable components library to make the UI consistent.
3. You will collaborate with UX designers, product managers, software engineers, and other stakeholders to iteratively transform high-level requirements into product enhancements.
4. Provide technical leadership through code reviews and mentorship for junior team members
5. Reinforce coding best practices including CI/CD and writing DRY, extensible code
6. Work with sensitive information (PII) and ensure best development practices privacy and security
7. Contribute to agile team ceremonies and processes (stand-ups, groomings, planning meetings)

What you’ll need:

1. 5+ years of software development experience with front-end development languages such as JavaScript, HTML, CSS
2. 3+ years of experience building complex UIs using modern javascript tools & frameworks (React, Redux, Next.js, Typescript, storybook)
3. 2+ years of experience in unit and integration testing as a part of your software development processes (CI/CD)
4. You understand how to build reusable, composable, and extensible software
5. Experience in performance aspects like caching, code splitting, lazy loading, pagination, etc & Security aspects like authentication, CORS, XSS.
6. Deep understanding of client-server communication patterns and APIs
7. Advanced experience with version control tools (Git, SVN)
8. Built and deployed applications using containers
9. Strong written and verbal communication skills
10. Willingness to participate in an on-call rotation

Bonus points if you:

1. Have experience with a microservices architecture
2. Developed in environments with large amounts of data
3. Experience in healthcare and working with PII
4. Did pair programming with other developers
