Role: Senior Data Engineer

• Salary: Rs. 40-60 lakhs per annum

What you’ll do:

1. Implement scalable, fault-tolerant, and accurate ETL frameworks
2. Gather and process raw data at scale from diverse sources
3. Implement and maintain a high level of data quality monitoring in our analytics
4. Provide technical leadership through code reviews and mentorship for junior team members in data engineering best practices.
5. Contribute to agile team rituals and processes (stand-ups, groomings, planning meetings)
6. Help identify high-value opportunity areas for the team and guide their implementation.

What you’ll need:

1. 5+ years as a date engineer implementing data pipelines and improving the performance of ETL processes and SQL queries
2. Experience with Cloud Platform Services (AWS, GCP, or Azure), GCP preferred
3. Experience with database design
4. Experience with Relational and NoSQL databases
5. Embracive culture of alerting and monitoring
6. Familiarity deploying applications using containers
7. Strong written and verbal communication skills
8. Willingness to participate in an on-call rotation
9. Experience building screen scrapers is a plus

Bonus points if you:

1. Built internal frameworks or development productivity tools
2. Application development experience
3. Have experience with a microservices architecture
4. Developed in environments with large amounts of data
5. Experience in healthcare and working with PII
6. Did pair programming with other developers
