- Performs and is responsible for all work carried out and certified by him/her on the aircraft under the scope of his authorization privilege
- Must ensure that all statutory regulations regarding airworthiness of the aircraft and company requirements are met
- Ensures that he/she is aware of all company operating procedures and fully understand all quality and technical reporting systems
- Ensure all maintenance and defect rectification, in the line maintenance, including sub-contracted maintenance, are carried out in accordance with the standards
- To ensure and monitor that necessary maintenance documentation are raised, controlled, and cleared in accordance with approved procedures, prior to releasing aircraft to service
- Report occurrence / incident / significant defect / any un-airworthy condition in line environment, involving aircraft / maintenance personnel to Shift In-Charge/AME
- Ensure knowledge of processes defined in Line Maintenance Manual relevant to current position and compliance of same
- Shall discharge the functions of technician as per station requirement
- Any other duties and responsibilities assigned by the Superiors
