Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Certified Dialysis Technician role based at Vimalalaya Hospital in Bengaluru. The technician will prepare, operate, and monitor dialysis equipment, ensuring safe and effective hemodialysis treatment for patients. Daily responsibilities include assessing and documenting vital signs, setting up and disinfecting machines, preparing dialysate, and adhering to infection control protocols. The role involves providing attentive patient care, assisting with medications as directed by physicians and nurses, observing and reporting changes in patient condition, and maintaining accurate treatment records. The technician will collaborate with the nephrology and nursing teams, support patient education on dialysis procedures, and contribute to a caring and respectful clinical environment.
Qualifications
- Clinical dialysis skills, including proficiency in Dialysis and Hemodialysis procedures
- Strong Patient Care abilities, with a focus on comfort, safety, and clear communication
- Competence in monitoring and documenting Vital Signs and recognizing clinical changes
- Basic knowledge of Medicine relevant to dialysis care and ability to follow medical instructions accurately
- Certification as a Dialysis Technician from a recognized institution
- Prior experience in a dialysis unit or nephrology department is preferred
- Understanding of infection control, equipment maintenance, and hospital safety protocols
- Ability to work in a fast-paced clinical environment, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and maintain detailed records
- Commitment to ethical, non-discriminatory patient care and adherence to hospital policies and standards
