About the Role:
As an Intern in the construction industry, you will gain hands-on experience by supporting various project teams throughout the construction lifecycle. This role is designed to provide you with a comprehensive understanding of construction processes, safety protocols, and project management practices. You will collaborate closely with engineers, project managers, and site supervisors to assist in planning, coordination, and execution of construction activities. The internship aims to develop your technical knowledge and professional skills, preparing you for a successful career in construction. Ultimately, your contributions will help ensure projects are completed efficiently, safely, and to the highest quality standards.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a relevant degree program such as Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or Architecture.
- Basic understanding of construction principles and terminology.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous internship or work experience in construction or related fields.
- Familiarity with construction management software such as Procore or AutoCAD.
- Knowledge of OSHA safety standards and regulations.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and blueprints.
