Your Impact: Conduct analysis of customer product requirements to ensure a thorough understanding of their needs. Work in collaboration with customers to specify the application and design automotive applications that meet their needs. Utilize Java to design, develop, and implement software applications that are both high-quality and meet customer requirements. Work with development teams to develop and maintain unit tests to ensure code quality and reliability. Review and investigate issues in code developed by peers to ensure that all code meets the highest standards of quality and efficiency. Establish and maintain clear communication channels with customers and other Cerence AI teams through regular reporting, meeting participation, and follow-up. Contribute to advancing technologies and services by providing input and recommendations based on project experience, as well as staying up-to-date with industry trends and developments What you Bring: Hands-on experience in software development as a full-stack Java developer with a solid understanding of modern development processes/tools and the complete software development life cycle Strong knowledge and experience in Java, Python, Spring Boot, Hibernate, and REST, as well as SQL, MYSQL, and good database concepts Experience and knowledge of DevOps concepts and practices with expertise in source control tools like Git and CI/CD pipeline tools like Jenkins Experience working in/knowledge of Agile/Scrum frameworks Strong data structures and algorithms skills with the ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements Demonstrated ability to master new technologies and tools quickly with strong object-oriented analysis, design, and coding skills Fluent in English, both written and spoken with excellent team player skills and a customer-focused approach An understanding of information and application cybersecurity standards (secure coding, securing SDLC's, etc.)
