At AfterDrag, every ceramic piece we make has to be worth keeping on a desk, worth photographing, worth gifting. We're India's first pop-culture ceramic lifestyle brand, and we're looking for a ceramic product design intern who thinks about objects the way others think about albums: obsessively, with references, and with strong opinions.
If you've got a notes app full of half-formed product ideas and a Pinterest board that makes no sense to anyone but you, this is probably for you.
What you'll actually be doing:
Helping shape original ceramic concepts from a rough sketch to something real. Building mood boards and references across film, music, gaming, and internet culture. Sitting in on calls with artisans and manufacturing partners to see how a design actually becomes an object. Getting a real look at how a collection comes together, not just a single piece.
Who we're looking for:
Someone with a sharp eye for form and detail, who notices things other people walk past. You're curious about objects, not just how they look but why they exist. Some exposure to product, ceramic, industrial, or object design (student work, personal projects, side hustles, all count). You care more about originality than what's trending right now.
Bonus points if you:
Have played with clay, moulds, or any handcraft before. Know your way around Rhino, Fusion 360, Blender, or SolidWorks, even a little. Actually have opinions about pop culture, design, and visual storytelling.
