Job Title: Chief Executive Officer (CEO) – Mini Retail Stores

About the Role
Super Saravana Stores is planning a large-scale expansion by launching approximately 100 Mini Retail Stores of around 50,000 sq.ft each across Tamil Nadu.
We are looking for a dynamic and result-oriented CEO to lead this expansion, build strong retail systems, and drive profitable growth. The CEO will be responsible for overall business strategy, P&L management, operational excellence, and retail performance across all mini stores.
Key ResponsibilitiesStrategic Leadership
- Develop and execute the overall business strategy for the mini store retail format.
- Lead the launch and expansion of ~100 stores across Tamil Nadu.
- Build a scalable retail operating model and store expansion roadmap.
Financial & P&L Management
- Own complete Profit & Loss (P&L) responsibility for the mini store business.
- Drive revenue growth, margin improvement, and cost optimization.
- Monitor financial performance and ensure sustainable profitability.
Retail Operations & KPIs
- Establish and monitor key retail KPIs, including:
- Sales per sq.ft
- Footfall conversion
- Average bill value
- Inventory turnover
- Shrinkage control
- Store profitability
- Ensure strong store execution, merchandising standards, and customer experience.
Technology & Systems
- Implement and optimize ERP systems (SAP / Oracle or equivalent) for retail operations.
- Leverage technology for inventory management, supply chain efficiency, and store analytics.
Team Leadership
- Build and lead a high-performing leadership team across operations, merchandising, finance, and supply chain.
- Develop a strong store operations culture focused on performance and customer service.
Expansion & Growth
- Identify new store locations and expansion opportunities.
- Coordinate with real estate, construction, and operations teams for store rollouts.
Key Requirements
- Education: MBA preferred (Retail / Business Management / Operations).
- Experience:
- 15–20+ years in large format retail / multi-store retail operations.
- Prior experience in handling full P&L responsibility.
- Experience managing large retail networks or store expansion projects.
- Technical Skills
- Strong understanding of Retail KPIs and store performance metrics.
- Experience working with ERP systems such as SAP / Oracle.
- Language Requirements
- Tamil – Mandatory
- Hindi – Must be able to communicate
- English – Professional proficiency
