About the FirmAuro 2Sigma is a venture-backed, Stanford-incubated, EdTech and Recruitment firm designed to bridge the gap between education and employment where: 87% of companies face skill shortages, 58% of international students can't find relevant jobs, despite governments investing ~3.8% of GDP in education. This problem is made even more acute by AI disruption in job market, where WEF highlights 59% of the global workforce will need reskilling by 2030 and Goldman Sachs, estimates that 300 million jobs globally face exposure to AI automation. The position offers a unique opportunity to join as a Co-Founder of a high profile venture which is already live and currently at a pre-Series A funding round stage.
The venture operates through two key verticals:
- Auro.edu: An EdTech platform using a proprietary LEARN → MASTER → EARN framework to provide job-ready skills via AI tutoring.
- Auro Talent: An AI-powered global staffing marketplace that connects pre-vetted, high-skill candidates with employers.

About The JobWe are seeking a high-performance, mission-driven leader to serve as CEO and Co-Founder. This individual will drive our technical team in India, lead global scaling efforts, and work closely with an international panel of advisors to transform the demographic dividend into a global workforce.
Key Responsibilities- Strategic Leadership: Define and execute the long-term vision for Auro 2Sigma, overseeing both the EdTech (Auro.edu) and Recruitment (Auro Talent) verticals.
- Team Management: Lead and inspire a high-caliber data science and engineering team primarily based in India.
- Global Stakeholder Management: Act as the primary liaison between the company and its international panel of advisors across Western markets.
- Growth & Partnerships: Expand our existing ecosystem of 225+ college partnerships and build deep relationships with global employers.
- Product Oversight: Ensure the "deep data engineering layer" between our education and recruitment platforms remains cutting-edge and AI-first.
Target Qualifications (but not compulsory and not expected to have all of below) - Experience: Approximately 10 years of total work experience, with a background in the C-suite of a successful, VC-backed tech startup.
- Education: A strong academic foundation with both a Technical degree (e.g., B.Tech/B.E.) and an MBA.
- Domain Expertise: Proven experience in EdTech or HR Tech/Recruitment marketplaces is highly preferred.
- Technical Literacy: A deep understanding of AI and its practical applications in personalized learning and smart matching.
- Cultural Competence: Ability to navigate and lead in the Indian tech ecosystem while effectively operating in international business environments.
