</div><div>Century Cruises Inc., one of the world’s leading luxury river cruise lines, is seeking an experienced and dynamic Director of Direct Consumer Sales to lead and grow our direct-to-consumer sales organization. This leadership role is responsible for driving revenue growth, developing high-performing sales teams, improving sales processes, and delivering exceptional customer experiences throughout the sales journey.<br><br>
</div><div>The ideal candidate is a positive, energetic, and organized sales leader with extensive experience in the travel and hospitality industry. This individual will possess strong management skills, deep knowledge of direct consumer sales strategies, and experience with CRM and reservation systems.<br><br>

<strong>Key Responsibilities<br></strong><br>
</div><ul>
<li>Lead, manage, and develop the direct consumer sales team to achieve revenue and performance goals </li>
<li>Create and execute strategic sales initiatives to drive bookings and customer acquisition </li>
<li>Develop and implement sales training programs, coaching strategies, and performance metrics </li>
<li>Recruit, mentor, and motivate high-performing sales professionals </li>
<li>Monitor sales performance and provide regular reporting, forecasting, and analysis </li>
<li>Ensure consistent execution of the sales process and customer service standards </li>
<li>Collaborate with marketing and operations teams to maximize campaign effectiveness and guest satisfaction </li>
<li>Utilize CRM systems, preferably Salesforce, to manage customer relationships, pipeline tracking, and reporting </li>
<li>Oversee and optimize the use of CRS platforms, preferably Seaware </li>
<li>Identify opportunities for process improvement and operational efficiency </li>
<li>Maintain a strong understanding of industry trends, competitor activity, and luxury travel market dynamics </li>

<strong>Qualifications<br></strong><br>
</div><ul>
<li>Several years of management experience in the travel, tourism, hospitality, or cruise industry </li>
<li>Proven success leading direct consumer sales teams </li>
<li>Strong understanding of sales methodologies, sales operations, and customer engagement strategies </li>
<li>Experience developing and delivering sales training programs </li>
<li>Proficiency with CRM systems, preferably Salesforce </li>
<li>Experience with CRS systems, preferably Seaware </li>
<li>Excellent leadership, communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills </li>
<li>Strong recruiting and team-building capabilities </li>
<li>Ability to motivate teams in a fast-paced, goal-oriented environment </li>
<li>Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving and decision-making skills </li>
