Job Title: Site Coordinator and Receptionist
Location: CentroNía Upshur / Washington, DC
Classification: Full Time / Non-Exempt
Job Summary
Supports the Site Director with administrative tasks, staff coverage, and meeting coordination. Serves as the first point of contact, offering customer service in a multicultural environment.
Core Functions
- Greet parents, answer phone calls, schedule meetings, and maintain calendars.
- Manage staff timesheets, leave requests, schedules, and maintain up-to-date program files regarding education and certifications.
- Track credit card expenses and complete Tallie reconciliations.
- Maintain children's records and confidential family contact details in collaboration with the admissions office.
- Execute clerical duties, including filing, copying, drafting documents, and assisting with data collection.
- Receive and distribute office supplies, mail, and packages, and request emergency facility repairs.
- Support leadership and compliance offices with licensing, accreditation requirements, and grant documentation.
Key Requirements
- High school diploma and/or AA required; college credits highly preferred.
- Bilingual English/Spanish required (verbal and written).
- 1 year of administrative experience and at least 2 years of experience in an educational setting.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and standard office equipment.
