Project Summary
CentroNía seeks a Data Management Consultant to provide the critical analytical infrastructure for a complex, multi-year initiative focused on a Comprehensive Literacy Program (CLP). This role will establish strong data baselines, track developmental outcomes via assessment tools, and translate complex educational metrics into actionable strategies to enhance school readiness for our bilingual learners, and oversee compliance reporting.
Scope of Services and Key Deliverables
· Needs Assessments: Design and execute comprehensive baseline and longitudinal needs assessments for children, ages birth through five, utilizing formative tools, summative assessments, and community surveys, all in compliance with federal privacy standards.
· Data Evaluation & Tracking: Systematically compile and evaluate scores across all program classrooms (utilizing tools such as CLASS, GOLD, Rossetti, and PLS) to measure the effectiveness of literacy interventions and track progress toward a minimum 20% improvement in literacy benchmarks.
· Compliance Reporting: Produce highly detailed, data-driven evaluation reports required for OSSE compliance, synthesizing child outcomes, educator instructional capacity to inform continuous program improvement, and improved early literacy behaviors in families.
Consultant Qualifications
· Prior experience creating and managing a centralized data platform to support evaluation frameworks for state or federally funded education grants.
· Proven ability to write comprehensive evaluation reports that meet strict compliance standards and translate complex data narratives into practical insights.
· Skilled at training pedagogical staff, coaches and family engagement specialists on proper data entry protocols thus ensuring universal data fidelity.
· Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish to comfortably handle multicultural data, surveys, and communications within CentroNía's dual-language environment.
Timeline and Hours Work: hours are flexible and determined by the consultant to successfully meet all internal milestones and OSSE reporting deadlines as outlined in the final consultancy agreement. Local travel to CentroNía at Columbia Road will be required on an as needed basis.
