Bargains Galore Thrift Store is seeking dependable and motivated individuals to join our team as Thrift Store Workers. This role supports the daily operations of the store by assisting with merchandise processing, stocking, organization, customer service, and general store support.
The ideal candidate enjoys working in a team environment, has a positive attitude, and is willing to jump in wherever needed to help create a welcoming and efficient shopping experience for customers and donors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with daily store operations, including organizing merchandise, stocking shelves, and maintaining displays
- Help process donated goods by sorting, preparing, and organizing items for the sales floor
- Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming store environment
- Support merchandising efforts to keep the store organized and visually appealing
- Provide friendly and helpful customer service to shoppers and donors
- Assist and support volunteers as needed
- Adapt to changing daily needs and help in various departments when needed
- Support store events, promotions, and special projects
- Work collaboratively with staff and leadership to support store goals and operations
- Uphold and support Bargains Galore’s mission and values through daily interactions and service
Requirements
- Experience in retail or customer service preferred
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Positive communication and customer service skills
- Ability to follow directions and complete tasks independently when needed
- Flexible, dependable, and willing to assist wherever needed
- Ability to lift, move, and organize merchandise throughout the workday

Founded in 2001 through the vision, generosity, and prayers of supporters, the store has grown into a thriving, community-centered nonprofit.
