Job Title: Central Transport Manager_ Schools
Location: Jaipur (with travel to school units)
Experience: 3+ years in school/university transport management

Role Overview
The Central Transport Manager will be responsible for end-to-end management of the school transport system across multiple units. The role involves school route planning, operational monitoring, vendor coordination, compliance management, and data-driven optimization to ensure safe, efficient, and cost-effective student transportation.
Key Responsibilities
1. Route Planning & Optimization
· Design and optimize bus routes and schedules based on student locations
· Ensure minimum travel time and maximum route efficiency
· Continuously refine routes based on changes in student data
2. Data Analysis & Tracking Systems
· Monitor transport operations through GPS tracking systems
· Analyse data on: Route efficiency, Delays and deviations, Bus utilization
· Generate actionable insights and reports for improvement
3. Vehicle Maintenance & Breakdown Management
· Oversee preventive and corrective maintenance schedules, minimal downtime through proactive servicing, manage and resolve bus breakdowns and emergency situations
4. Compliance & Documentation Management
· Maintain and track: Vehicle fitness certificates, Insurance, Permits, Pollution certificates, Ensure timely renewal of all transport-related documents, Maintain 100% compliance with regulatory requirements
5. Fuel Management & Cost Control
· Track and monitor fuel consumption for all buses, Identify inefficiencies and implement cost-control measures, Maintain fuel logs and analyse usage patterns
6. School-Level Coordination
· Act as a central point of contact between schools and the transport function
7. New School Transport Setup
· Lead the onboarding of transport systems for new schools
8. Vendor & Staff Management
· Manage transport vendors, drivers, and support staff, Monitor performance and ensure adherence to safety standards, Support hiring and onboarding of drivers and attendants
Key Skills & Competencies
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
· Experience with GPS tracking systems and MIS reporting
· Knowledge of transport compliance and regulations
