Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site position located in Bengaluru South for the role of Central Legal Officer. The Central Legal Officer will oversee and manage all legal matters of the organization, ensuring regulatory compliance and mitigating legal risks. Responsibilities include drafting and reviewing legal documents, providing legal guidance for decision-making, liaising between stakeholders, managing disputes and litigation, and ensuring that all activities adhere to applicable laws and regulations. The role requires managing relationships with external legal counsel and regulators to support the strategic goals of the company.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Contract Drafting, Negotiation, and Legal Documentation
- Strong knowledge of Regulatory Compliance and Risk Management
- Experience with Litigation Management and Dispute Resolution
- Understanding of Corporate Governance and Business Law
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with internal teams and external legal counsel
- Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Law (LLB/LLM) from a recognized institution
- Relevant legal work experience in the financial or fintech sector preferred
