About the role

Description

Howard Johnson’s Enterprises is looking for a Bulk Unloader at our Neosho, Missouri location. This role involves qualified candidates moving raw materials and finished goods around the facility under the general supervision of the Shipping Manager.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Verify the quality and accuracy of received raw materials and sign/date for the loads upon acceptance.
Unload trucks via conveyors into the correct bulk material bins.
Clean storage areas daily.
Accurately complete daily receiving reports and turn them in to the supervisor weekly.
Perform other duties assigned, including assisting anywhere needed.

QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, & WORKING CONDITIONS

Work is performed in a factory office setting, involving either sitting, standing, or walking throughout the shift, depending on the activity.
The outdoor warehouse is minimally climate-controlled, resulting in hot and cold conditions depending on the season.
The presence of airborne dust may require the use of dust mask respirators, depending on the type of product being transported. Employees must be able to properly fit a respirator, meaning no facial hair or significant abnormalities that could prevent an airtight seal.
No smoking, except in designated areas.
Dress appropriately, as this is an outdoor position.
Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
Able to work in a constant state of alertness and safe manner.
