The School Psychologist/Coordinator provides leadership and oversight of special education and 504 services to ensure compliance and strong student outcomes. This role serves as the LEA representative at IEP meetings (including annual reviews, initial meetings, FBAs/BIPs, and MDRs), completes initial and reevaluations, and collaborates with multidisciplinary teams and families. Responsibilities include auditing and managing IEP and 504 documentation, coordinating the Problem Solving Team (PST) process, and ensuring timely communication and accurate recordkeeping in district systems. The School Psychologist/Coordinator monitors the implementation of services, accommodations, and behavior plans; supports data analysis and intervention planning; and promotes student independence and progress. Additional duties include assisting with behavioral supports and early childhood evaluations, as well as providing guidance to staff aligned with district procedures and best practices.
