As an analyst, you will work alongside the portfolio managers and other analysts to construct a portfolio of public stocks intended to outperform stated benchmarks in any market environment. You will be assigned responsibility for maintaining research coverage of 20 to 30 real estate companies, which will require valuations based on public documents, multiple on-site property tours, and a healthy industry conference schedule. The position will be based in CenterSquare’s headquarters office located in Conshohocken, PA.

Role & Responsibilities: 

  • Learn how to model, value and forecast public securities
  • Become an expert across multiple REIT sectors
  • Use expertise to contribute to team discussions and investment decisions
  • Meet with CEOs, CFOs, CIOs and IR of public companies
  • Travel to engage directly with the real estate of REITs across the country
  • Attend industry conferences, many held in NYC and Florida
  • Deep dive into real estate, taking on both individual projects and entire markets

Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s degree required, with a major in accounting, finance or economics
  • CFA preferred or a willingness to pursue the CFA Charter
  • GPA of 3.5 or higher preferred but not required
  • Self-starter with proven ability to multi-task and prioritize work to meet tight deadlines
  • Strong attention to detail and high level of intellectual curiosity
  • Strong proficiency with Excel including vlookups, macros and index (match)
