Job Summary:

The Director of Recruitment will lead the recruitment department in ensuring efficient and maximum study participant recruitment for enrolling clinical trials. Contribute to study selection process, analysis of study eligibility criteria and timelines.

 

Essential Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Participates in study selection process with senior management and/or site leadership.
  • Oversees scheduling screening appointments in Clinical Conductor.
  • Oversees reminder phone calls needs.
  • Communicates and reaches out to referral connections, sponsors, or potential providers.
  • Creates media/advertising campaigns and obtain sponsor/IRB approval.
  • Updates enrolling and upcoming study lists. Ensures team is informed of all upcoming projects/studies.
  • Act as the liaison for outside referring sources.
  • Conducts outreach and special events as needed and conduct presentations to various referral sources.
  • Hires, trains, supervises, and evaluates personnel. Champions and enforces the strictest adherence to best practices, FDA Code of Federal Regulations, ICH (International Conference on Harmonization), GCP (Good Clinical Practices), CenExel standard operating procedures, site Working Practices, protocol, and company guidelines and policies. Retrains and implements corrective and preventative actions, as needed.
  • Assumes other duties and responsibilities as assigned. The above responsibilities are a general description of the level and nature of the work assigned to this classification and are not to be considered as all inclusive.

 

Education/Experience/Skills:

  • Bachelors degree or equivalent experience.
  • 4-5 years of Clinical Research Recruitment. Sales and recruitment experience preferred.
  • Must be detail oriented and have exceptional computer, organizational, and communication skills – both written and oral.
  • Must be self-directed and able to work with minimal supervision.
  • Able to take a flexible approach to shifting priorities.
  • Able to manage multiple projects and responsibilities.
  • Motivated to work consistently in a fast paced and rapidly changing environment.
  • Understanding of clinical protocols Phase I to Phase IV.
  • Must be able to effectively communicate verbally and in writing.

 

Working Conditions

  1. Indoor, Office environment.
  2. Essential physical requirements include sitting, typing, standing, and walking.
  3. Lightly active position, occasional lifting of up to 20 pounds.
  4. Reporting to work, as scheduled, is essential.
  5. On site work arrangement.
