Description
The ACO Trainer supports Access Control Officer (ACO) operations by overseeing training, compliance, and qualification activities across secure datacenter environments. This role ensures supplier personnel meet Customer and U.S. Government training, licensing, and performance requirements through structured programs, field evaluations, and continuous oversight. The ACO Trainer works closely with Customer representatives and internal leadership to maintain operational excellence and audit readiness.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and deliver initial, sustainment, and refresher training for supplier personnel supporting datacenter security operations.
- Ensure compliance with Customer systems, policies, procedures, and contractual training requirements using approved curricula and training materials.
- Maintain accurate training, licensing, and qualification records for all personnel in scope.
- Conduct field evaluations, observe on-the-job training (OJT), and assess performance to identify gaps requiring remedial training.
- Support audits, inspections, and compliance reviews related to training and operational readiness.
- Travel regularly to assigned datacenter sites to assess service delivery, provide training, and assist with issue resolution.
- Maintain strict confidentiality and safeguard classified information at all times.
- Provide programmatic updates and training status to Customer and internal leadership; support continuity of operations as needed.
Requirements
Required Qualifications
- U.S. Citizenship required.
- Active Top Secret Clearance with Polygraph required.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Strong verbal communication and customer service skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to travel to multiple secure datacenter locations.
- Experience maintaining documentation and records in regulated or security-focused environments.
