Role Description
We are seeking a part-time Cement Sector Consultant to partner with us. In this role, you will work closely with startups to manage clients in the cement industry to provide strategic consulting aimed at reducing carbon emissions and driving sustainability initiatives. Day-to-day tasks include conducting industry research, analyzing data for optimization opportunities, developing and implementing decarbonization strategies for cement companies. You will play a vital role in shaping and supporting sustainable practices within the cement sector, fostering industry transformation for a greener future.
Qualifications
- Strong connects in the cement industry and knowledge of construction materials, production processes and sustainability practices.
- Proficiency in data analysis, research methodologies, and creating actionable insights.
- Experience in sustainability consulting, emissions reduction strategies, and life cycle assessments (LCA).
- Skills in project management, relationship building, and client advisory.
- Educational background in Environmental Science, Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field. Advanced degrees are a plus.
- Passion for environmental sustainability, problem-solving capabilities, and ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams.
- Prior engagement with cleantech or climate-tech initiatives is a strong advantage.
