In cloud security at PwC, you will be responsible for designing, implementing and elevating the security posture across our clients’ cloud environments, covering IaaS, PaaS and SaaS. Your work will involve having a deep technical knowledge of cloud security and you will work with one or more Cloud Service Providers (CSP) to implement security protocols, monitor for potential security breaches, conduct risk assessments and vulnerability testing of cloud-based systems, and stay up to date with the latest security threats and trends in cloud technology.
- Define and execute the offshore cloud security practice strategy, capability roadmap, and talent growth plan.
- Establish technical standards, delivery frameworks, accelerators, and reusable assets.
- Oversee end-to-end delivery of cloud security programs including architecture reviews, security posture assessments, governance implementation, and remediation.
- Ensure quality, compliance, and adherence to client and regulatory requirements.
- Provide subject matter expertise in cloud security across Azure, AWS, and GCP.
- Design and review secure cloud architectures including IAM, network security, encryption, logging and monitoring, DevSecOps, container security, and workload protection.
- Lead cloud security maturity assessments and Zero Trust implementations.
- Guide implementation of CSPM, CWPP, CNAPP, SIEM/SOAR, and cloud-native security controls.
- Support AI-related security initiatives including AI governance, secure AI model deployment, and GenAI risk management in cloud environments.
- Contribute to sales pursuits including solution design, effort estimation, and pricing inputs.
- Lead technical responses for RFPs, RFIs, and SOW development.
- Participate in client orals, workshops, and executive presentations.
- Drive recruitment strategy, onboarding, training, and certification attainment.
- Foster a high-performance culture focused on innovation and continuous improvement.
- 10–12 years of experience in cybersecurity with significant focus on cloud security.
- Proven experience leading and scaling offshore teams.
- Strong hands-on expertise in at least one major cloud platform: Azure or AWS.
- Demonstrated experience in designing and securing enterprise-scale cloud environments.
- Experience participating in sales cycles, RFP responses, SOW development, and client presentations.
- Strong understanding of AI security, responsible AI, and cloud-based AI/ML security controls.
- Excellent stakeholder management and executive communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Google Cloud Platform security preferred over other secondary platforms.
- Experience working in global delivery models and regulated industries.
- Exposure to multi-cloud and hybrid architectures.
Certifications
At least one of the following cloud security certifications is mandatory:
- AWS Certified Security – Specialty
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Security Engineer Associate (AZ-500)
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert
