The CDP Systems Engineer will be responsible for implementing, configuring, and administering Twilio Segment as the core Customer Data Platform for Hilton Grand Vacations. This role ensures secure, scalable, and compliant data flows that enable profile enrichment, personalized marketing, and advanced audience management. The engineer will work closely with marketing, data engineering, and security teams to deliver on CDP program milestones.

Key Responsibilities

Platform Implementation & Administration :

• Deploy and configure Twilio Segment workspaces, sources, and destinations.
• Manage identity resolution, data enrichment pipelines, and Reverse ETL workflows.
• Implement Private Link and VPN connectivity between Azure and AWS environments for secure data transfer.
  
  

Data Flow & Enrichment

• Build and maintain data flows from MDW and Drinccc to Marketing Edge via Segment.
• Validate and monitor enrichment of HGV Owner and Prospect profiles to support personalized campaigns.
  
  

Governance & Compliance

• Apply data classification and privacy controls in Segment Protocols.
• Ensure compliance with SOC 2 and GDPR requirements for PII handling and DSAR workflows.
  
  

Monitoring & Optimization

• Implement observability for rETL and API consumption to maintain throughput and prevent degradation.
• Optimize event delivery and enforce quotas for downstream Collaboration :
• Partner with marketing and analytics teams to enable in-tool adoption and activation use cases.
• Support solution design for audience segmentation and campaign orchestration.
  
  

Required Qualifications

• Proven experience with Twilio Segment or similar CDP platforms.
• Strong knowledge of data integration, ETL/Reverse ETL, and identity resolution.
• Familiarity with Azure, AWS, and secure networking (VPN, Private Link).
• Proficiency in SQL and data pipeline monitoring tools.
• Understanding of data governance, privacy regulations, and compliance frameworks.
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Databricks, Marketing Edge, and enterprise data architecture.
• Knowledge of API rate limiting, observability tools (e.g., Datadog), and IaC (Terraform).
• Background in marketing technology integrations and audience activation.
