QA Engineer - Customer Data Platform (CDP)
About the Role
We are looking for a detail-oriented QA Engineer to join our Customer Data Platform (CDP) team. This role is ideal for professionals with experience in data validation, ETL testing, data engineering, or data quality assurance who enjoy working with large datasets and ensuring data accuracy across systems.
The successful candidate will work closely with data engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders to validate data pipelines, verify data quality, and support the delivery of reliable customer data solutions.

Key Responsibilities
- Validate data pipelines and data transformation processes.
- Perform data quality checks and reconciliation across multiple data sources.
- Execute SQL queries to analyze and verify data accuracy.
- Identify, investigate, and troubleshoot data discrepancies.
- Work with large-scale datasets in cloud and big data environments.
- Collaborate with Data Engineering teams to ensure data integrity throughout the data lifecycle.
- Develop and execute test cases for data validation and quality assurance.
- Support root cause analysis and resolution of data-related issues.
- Participate in requirement reviews and provide feedback from a quality perspective.
Required Skills
- Strong SQL skills with experience in complex queries and data analysis.
- Hands-on experience with data validation, ETL testing, or data quality assurance.
- Experience working with large datasets and data pipelines.
- Working knowledge of Python for data analysis or automation.
- Experience with Hive, Presto, or similar distributed query engines.
- Exposure to Databricks, Spark, or modern big data platforms.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

What We Are Looking For
Rather than specific CDP experience, we are primarily looking for professionals who have strong data fundamentals and experience working with large-scale data platforms. Candidates with expertise in SQL, Hive, Presto, Python, Databricks, ETL processes, and data validation will be highly preferred.
