A renowned fine-dining restaurant in Bhilwara, Rajasthan is seeking a Chef de Partie (CDP) for its Oriental section, specializing in Chinese, Pan-Asian, or East Asian cuisine. The ideal candidate should possess strong technical culinary expertise, hands-on experience in high-volume or fine-dining environments, and proven leadership abilities to manage and oversee the station efficiently.
Responsibilities
Culinary Production: Prepare, cook, and present Oriental dishes according to menu specifications.
Station Management: Lead the Oriental station, ensuring mise-en-place readiness, proper equipment usage, and cleanliness.
Menu & Quality Control: Maintain consistent food quality, taste, and presentation. Contribute to menu development and the creation of new dishes.
Stock Management: Monitor inventory, manage ingredient supplies, and place requisitions for the section
Qualifications
Leadership & Training: Train, mentor, and guide Commis chefs (junior staff) in specialized Oriental techniques.
Compliance: Adhere to food safety, hygiene, and HACCP standards.
Key Requirements:
- Experience: Usually 3–5 years in a similar role within a 3–5 star hotel or fine dining.
- Skills: Proficiency in Oriental techniques (wok, stir-fry, Dimsum - steaming) and strong culinary knowledge of Asian cuisine.
Minimum School Final(10 standard) or Higher Secondary or Diploma/Certification in Culinary Arts is preferred.
