Responsibilities & Expectations
- Prepare and bake pastries, breads, cakes, and desserts as per standard recipes.
- Assist in daily pastry and bakery production under senior chefs’ guidance.
- Ensure consistency in taste, portioning, and presentation.
- Maintain hygiene, cleanliness, and food safety standards (FSSAI).
- Follow kitchen SOPs, FIFO, proper storage, and labeling procedures.
- Monitor ingredient quality and report shortages or spoilage.
- Minimize wastage through proper portion control and handling.
- Support basic training of junior staff when required.
- Perform duties assigned by the Pastry Chef or senior team members.
Eligibility -
• BHM/B.A or Diploma in Culinary Arts or Hotel Management, Worked at least 2-3 years experience / Key position in the Kitchen with a brand restaurant chain or Hotel.
• Communication must be excellent should be good in guest handling, conversation if required, Innovative, knowledge of menu planning and overall Menu Costing, team building and handling.
