About the role

As an AI & Navigation Engineer, you will be responsible for extending and maintaining the code of Unreal Engine AI and navigation technology, tools, and pipelines (including CDPR extensions to these areas). We seek a talented engineer to develop AI & navigation systems and behaviors for our characters with high quality and fidelity for the big open-world game. Working closely with designers, animators, character artists, and other gameplay engineers you should have a positive attitude and skills to cooperate in an interdisciplinary team effectively. You will have the opportunity to develop stunning AI & navigation features for our games. If you can communicate with people as efficiently as you do with your computer, join us! Daily responsibilities Developing navigation and AI systems and/or extensions to these systems. Developing gameplay mechanics related to navigation and AI. Collaborating with other engineers, designers, animators and other developers contributing to team work daily basis. Writing readable, high quality, efficient C++ code. Maintaining, debugging, profiling and bug fixing code to achieve the best quality and performance. Documenting code and work, creating debug tools for other developers, creating tests to cover existing functionality.
