This is a full-time on-site role for a CCTV Operator based in Jammu. The CCTV Operator will monitor live video feeds, review recorded footage, and promptly report suspicious activities, safety hazards, or security incidents to the appropriate personnel. The role includes maintaining and testing CCTV equipment, ensuring cameras are functioning and positioned correctly, and logging incidents and system issues in line with company procedures. The CCTV Operator will collaborate with security and operations teams, follow established protocols, and support investigations by retrieving and organizing relevant video evidence while maintaining confidentiality and data protection standards.
Qualifications
- Strong observation skills, attention to detail, and the ability to remain alert during extended monitoring periods.
- Basic technical understanding of CCTV systems, including camera operations, video recording, and troubleshooting minor equipment issues.
- Good communication skills, with the ability to clearly document incidents and coordinate with security or management teams.
- Ability to follow security protocols, work under pressure, and make timely decisions in response to potential threats or emergencies.
- Familiarity with safety and security standards, data privacy practices, and handling confidential information responsibly.
- Comfort using computers and relevant software for video management, reporting, and record-keeping.
- Prior experience in surveillance, security operations, or a related field is an advantage.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications in security or surveillance systems are beneficial.
