Job Overview:
We are looking for a skilled and passionate CCTV Firmware Developer to join our R&D and manufacturing team. The candidate will be responsible for developing, testing, optimizing, and maintaining firmware for IP Cameras, NVRs, DVRs, smart surveillance products, and IoT-based security devices.
The role involves working closely with hardware engineers, PCB designers, production teams, and software developers to build reliable and secure surveillance solutions under the Endroid USA ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain firmware for CCTV cameras, NVRs, DVRs, and embedded security devices.
- Work on Embedded C/C++ programming for Linux-based systems.
- Develop and integrate device drivers, sensor modules, and communication protocols.
- Implement and optimize video streaming protocols such as RTSP, ONVIF, TCP/IP, and HTTP.
- Work on ISP tuning, image enhancement, day/night switching, motion detection, and AI-based analytics.
- Debug hardware and firmware-related issues using UART, SPI, I2C, JTAG, and debugging tools.
- Support OTA firmware upgrades, secure boot, encryption, and cybersecurity implementation.
- Collaborate with PCB design and SMT production teams for hardware validation and testing.
- Perform firmware testing, aging tests, and product quality validation.
- Prepare technical documentation and support manufacturing processes.
Required Skills:
- Strong knowledge of Embedded C/C++
- Experience with Embedded Linux
- Knowledge of CCTV/IP Camera architecture
- Understanding of networking protocols and video codecs
- Experience with microcontrollers and processors
- Familiarity with PCB debugging and hardware interfaces
- Knowledge of RTSP, ONVIF, TCP/IP, SPI, UART, I2C
- Basic understanding of cybersecurity in embedded systems
Preferred Qualifications:
- B.Tech / Diploma in Electronics, Electrical, Embedded Systems, or related field
- Experience in CCTV, IoT, or surveillance industry
- Knowledge of HiSilicon, SigmaStar, Rockchip, or similar CCTV chipsets is preferred
Additional Advantages:
- Experience in AI video analytics
- PCB designing knowledge (EasyEDA/Eagle)
- Knowledge of manufacturing and OEM operations
- Experience in VMS or surveillance software integration
