Design Engineer 1

We are seeking remote, full-time Telecommunications Designers.  Candidates must have experience Designing HFC (DHFC), using ArcFM. Candidates with experience working on US-based projects and are familiar with relevant standards and practices preferred.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Design site plans for OSP (Outside Plant) fiber and coaxial cable routes.  
• Understand survey field notes and sketches to create new or update existing designs using various software platforms.
• Organize and maintain revisions of project drawings.
• Generation of bills of materials, splice sheets, and other supporting documentation for design. 
• Complete assigned work while maintaining an elevated level of quality, accuracy, and efficiency. 
• Work with project managers, design engineers, and QC team to meet deadlines.
• Focus on productivity and accuracy of designs in a high production environment.
• Adherence to customer specifications.
• Complete assigned work while maintaining a high level of quality, accuracy, and efficiency.

Who We Are Looking For:

• Must be fluent in English
• Must be able to design using ArcFM.
• Must have experience designing HFC.  
• Ability to read and comprehend engineering drawings and specifications.  
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.  
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to adapt to changes in project scope and shifts in priority.  
• Superior time management and attention to detail.  
• Ambitious with the ability to learn new software quickly.
• Ability to navigate and pull data from multiple software programs at once.
• Strong knowledge of United States industry standards and regulations.

Time Requirement:

Shift(s), Day shift is Monday - Friday, 5:30 AM - 2:00 PM IST. Training hours for two weeks will be 4:30 PM - 12:30 AM IST, Monday - Friday.

Additional Information:

Pay dependent on experience.
