LOCAL Production Operator

General Description: 

THIS IS A LOCAL KENAI POSITION. 

This individual is responsible for performing all aspects of general facility operations including field operations and turbine and reciprocating compression operations under the direct supervision of the client (Field Production Supervisor).
This position will be responsible for driving CCI’s Mission, Vision, and Values, a crucial part of the strategic plan to drive success. CCI Industrial Services leads the industry in Safety, Innovation, and Excellence. CCI’s mission is to provide quality-driven, cost-effective construction, maintenance, industrial cleaning, power generation, and transportation services to support resource development companies.

• Issues and controls all work permits, EIPs and EIL’s for his or her assigned area or areas.
• Follows all SOP’s for his or her area or areas.
• Ensures all work conducted in his or her area or areas is/are properly permitted.
• Informs supervisor of any incidents involving injury, spills, equipment malfunction and/or damage.
• Ensure a safe work environment.
• Performs emergency response duties.
• Performs work in strict compliance with permitting requirements, Client Standards and other compliance-oriented directives. Has STOP work authority. Ensures all assigned personnel follow standards and directives.
• Performs Stepback audits and observations.
• Submits reports, documents, maintenance history and other required documentation surrounding maintenance and repair work to other levels within the company and to the customer as required.
• Other duties as assigned.

Work Environment:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts and severe outside weather conditions. The employee is exposed to fumes or airborne particles in a mechanical shop environment. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. Hearing protection and the use of safety eyewear is required in most working situations.
