Data Analytics Associate

CBRE is seeking a Data Analytics Associate to join our Technology Solutions team in Boston, MA. This position will play a critical role in supporting CBRE's strategic and operational data initiatives. The successful candidate will have strong Excel, SQL, and analytical skills, as well as the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights. Key responsibilities include data extraction, analysis, visualization, and reporting to drive business impact. What You'll Do: - Analyze data from various sources to provide critical business insights and recommendations - Develop and maintain Excel-based models and dashboards to monitor and report on KPIs and operational metrics - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into data-driven solutions - Identify opportunities to automate and streamline data processes and workflows - Maintain data integrity and quality through regular data audits and cleansing - Contribute to the continuous improvement of data management practices and tools What You Need: - Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field (e.g., Business, Economics, Statistics, Engineering) - 1-3 years of experience in a data analyst or similar role - Proficient in Microsoft Excel (including advanced functions and VBA) and SQL - Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Qlik) - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to derive insights from complex data - Excellent communication and presentation skills to effectively translate data into actionable business recommendations - Curiosity and a desire to continuously learn and stay up-to-date with new data technologies and trends
