Vice President, People and Culture
Business Partners
The Vice
President, People and Culture Business Partners is a strategic leader
accountable for driving the execution of People + Culture priorities and
operational effectiveness across business operations in over 25 states and
counting. This role collaborates closely with executive and senior leadership
to ensure people strategies are aligned with business goals, elevates
organizational performance, and fosters our mission of bringing Heart, Health,
and Humanity to food. The position leads initiatives focused on enhancing team
member engagement, advancing leadership capability, strengthening talent
pipelines, and optimizing workforce performance while maintaining rigorous
compliance and risk management standards across all locations. Overseeing a
team of People + Culture professionals, this leader develops scalable programs
and solutions that enable business growth, improves the Team Member experience,
and empowers leaders to thrive in a fast-paced environment. This role reports
directly to the SVP, People + Culture.

What
You’ll Do:

Develop,
refine, and execute P+C strategies that align with operational and business
objectives.
·
Lead,
coach, and develop a team of P+C leaders and Business Partners to ensure their
roles and responsibilities are clear, executed effectively, and they are given
the necessary support and resources to be successful.
·
Lead
your team in setting standards for excellence that deliver strategic support
that includes workforce planning, org design, employee relations, and
succession planning.
·
Drive
accountability and provide ongoing visibility into progress of execution of business
objectives across the organization.
·
Proactively
support and mitigate risk related to policies, practices, and employee
relations while maintaining the highest standards of regulatory compliance.
·
Oversee
workforce planning strategies and partner with Talent Acquisition to support
high-volume and strategic hiring needs.
·
Promote
a culture of continuous learning, accountability, and professional growth that
equips leaders with the skills and capabilities needed to succeed in a
fast-paced hospitality environment.
·
Build
strong partnerships with executive and senior leadership to serve as a trusted
advisor and align P+C initiatives with operational priorities.
·
Collaborate
with key cross-functional partners across the enterprise, such as Operations,
Legal, Talent Acquisition, Total
Rewards, Benefits, and Finance to drive business objectives to success.
·
Provide
ongoing guidance and coaching to senior leadership on escalated people issues,
change management, and culture-building efforts.
·
Maintain
continuous lines of communication, keeping the SVP, People + Culture and Chief
People Officer informed of all critical issues that may arise.
·
Proactively
utilize data analytics and insights to inform decisions, track trends, and
identify opportunities for enhancement.
·
Ensure
compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws while championing a
positive and inclusive workplace culture that drives team member engagement,
retention, and performance.
The Qualifications:
Education & Experience
·
10+
years of progressive HR/People
leadership experience, with 5+ years in senior leadership roles, including
oversight of both HR Business Partners and Employee Relations functions.
·
Bachelor’s
degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related discipline required; Master’s
degree or MBA preferred.
·
SPHR
or SHRM-SCP Human Resources\SPHR or SHRM-SCP preferred.
·
Experience
supporting across the HR suite, including recruiting, talent planning,
organizational design, employment relations, employment compliance, and
learning development.
·
Experience
leading HR strategy for multi-unit hospitality or field-based organizations with
geographically dispersed operations, including high-volume hiring, workforce
planning, and frontline team member engagement.
·
Proven
ability to partner with executive leadership and senior leadership to shape
organizational strategy and workforce planning.
·
Demonstrated
success leading enterprise HR initiatives aligned with business growth and
profitability goals.
·
Experience
driving engagement and culture transformation across geographically dispersed
teams.
·
Demonstrated
ability to manage highly sensitive and confidential information with sound
judgment, discretion, and integrity while advising executive leadership on
complex employee and organizational matters.
·
Comfortable
operating in fast-paced, high-growth environments with evolving priorities.
·
Exceptional
communication, facilitation, and change leadership skills.
·
Detail-oriented
with sound judgement, including strong organizational and project management
abilities.
·
Excellent
writing and oral communication skills and the ability to constructively,
efficiently, and collegially collaborate with business partners, senior
leadership, and executives.
·
Must
be responsive, proactive, and a self-starter capable of taking projects to
completion and problem-solving along the way.
·
Willing
to work flexibly (including at night and on weekends, as necessary) and to
travel as needed.
·
