St. Catherine of Siena Catholic School in West Dundee is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic part-time Physical Education Teacher to join our faculty for the 2026-2027 School Year. Key Responsibilities and Duties:
- Curriculum Development: Plan and teach PE classes for students aged 3 to 14, focusing on fundamental motor skills, sportsmanship, and physical literacy.
- Skill Development: Teach basic sports skills, coordination, and team-based activities.
- Safety & Environment: Ensure a safe, clean, and organized environment (indoor gym and outdoor fields).
- Assessment & Evaluation: Evaluate, document, and report student progress in physical skill development.
- Faith Integration: Promote Catholic teachings in lessons and participate in required faith formation
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Education/Certification: Bachelor's degree in Physical Education or a related field, plus state-required teaching licensure/certification.
- Experience: Previous experience working with children in a school setting.
- Compliance: Ability to pass criminal background checks and comply with diocesan Safe Environment policies
Job Summary:
- Position: Part-time, unbenefited
- Pay rate range: Salary Range from $15,000 to $35,000. Depending on experience and time committment.

- Dates: Starting August 11, 2026 and follows School Schedule.
Working Conditions:
- Must be able to stand, walk, bend, and sit for extended periods of time.
- Requires the ability to lift to 25 lbs.
- Requires outdoor supervision in various weather conditions.
