USER INTERFACE TECHNOLOGY STRATEGIST

ROLE DETAILS Responsible for defining and driving the strategic vision and roadmap for the User Interface Technology Platform at Caterpillar. The successful candidate will be responsible for the planning, coordination and implementation of the technology strategy and adoption across Caterpillar's global product portfolio. This role will work closely with multiple teams and stakeholders to drive the UI technology strategy and ensure alignment with business and customer needs. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: - Define and drive the strategic vision and roadmap for the User Interface (UI) Technology Platform. - Work closely with product teams, IT, and other key stakeholders to align UI technology strategy with business and customer needs. - Ensure the UI technology strategy keeps pace with evolving industry trends and customer requirements. - Oversee the implementation and adoption of UI technologies across Caterpillar's global product portfolio. - Lead the identification, evaluation, and selection of UI technologies and tools. - Provide technical leadership and domain expertise to UI development teams. - Participate in the research and development of new UI technologies and solutions. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive innovation and continuous improvement. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. - 8+ years of experience in User Interface (UI) technology strategy, architecture, and implementation. - Proven track record of leading the definition and execution of UI technology roadmaps. - Strong understanding of user experience design principles, UI frameworks, and emerging technologies. - Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and critical thinking skills. - Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams. - Experience in the heavy equipment or industrial machinery industry is a plus.
