Role Description
We are seeking a skilled Category Manager specializing in beauty and cosmetics for a full-time, on-site position located in Gurugram. In this role, you will be responsible for category management, overseeing product sourcing, developing strategies, and executing them to drive sales and profitability. Key responsibilities include analyzing market trends, negotiating contracts with vendors, managing procurement processes, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to optimize category performance. You will play a pivotal role in expanding the product portfolio while ensuring alignment with company objectives.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Category Management and expertise in maximizing product portfolio growth
- Strong Analytical Skills to interpret data, identify trends, and make informed decisions
- Experience with Contract Negotiation and Procurement, ensuring favorable terms and vendor partnerships
- Strong Sales capabilities to drive revenue growth and category profitability
- Exceptional communication, organizational, and decision-making skills
- Proven ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
- Relevant experience in the beauty and cosmetics industry is highly desirable
