Role Overview
Own and scale the bakery category across Curefoods' portfolio by driving product innovation, vendor partnerships, and revenue growth. This role focuses on building high-margin, impulse-driven offerings that complement dessert, beverage, and snacking brands within the ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities
1. Category Strategy & Growth
• Define category roadmap across brands (e.g., desserts, beverages, add-ons)
• Identify white spaces – premium chocolates, gifting SKUs, seasonal offerings
• Drive upsell and cross-sell opportunities within existing menus
2. Product & Menu Integration
• Design bakery SKUs aligned with cake, dessert, and beverage verticals
• Create add-on products (chocolate bites, hampers, combo packs) to increase AOV
• Standardize offerings across brands while allowing regional customization
3. Vendor & Sourcing Management
• Identify and onboard national and regional bakery suppliers
• Negotiate pricing, credit terms, and exclusive partnerships
• Ensure quality consistency, shelf-life compliance, and scalability
4. Pricing & Profitability
• Drive margin optimization through cost engineering and smart sourcing
• Build pricing strategies for impulse and premium segments
• Monitor SKU-level profitability and take corrective actions
5. Demand Planning & Supply Coordination
• Collaborate with supply chain for forecasting and replenishment
• Ensure high availability across all kitchens with minimal wastage
• Effectively manage shelf-life-sensitive inventory
6. Marketing & Campaign Collaboration
• Work with marketing teams for seasonal campaigns (festivals, gifting, launches)
• Design bundle offers and limited-time SKUs
• Support digital platforms (Swiggy/Zomato) with optimized listings and visuals
7. Performance Tracking & Analytics
• Track key metrics: AOV impact, attach rate, SKU performance, wastage
• Analyze customer preferences and repeat purchase behavior
• Continuously optimize assortment based on data insights

Qualifications & Experience
• Bachelor's degree (MBA preferred)
• 5–7 years of experience in category management, merchandising, or F&B buying
• Experience in Bakery or FMCG preferred
