Position: Category Manager
Location: New Delhi

Key Responsibilities
- Category Strategy & P&L Ownership
- Own full P&L for the category, including revenue, margin, monetization, and cost levers.
- Develop and execute short-term and long-term growth strategies.
- Manage pricing, promotions, contribution margins, and profitability initiatives.
- Assortment & Selection Growth
- Build a strong assortment strategy across hero, fast-moving, and long-tail SKUs.
- Identify selection gaps, onboard brands/vendors, and ensure relevant category depth.
- Lead category expansion across new subcategories, geographies, and customer segments.
- Vendor Management & Partnerships
- Identify, evaluate, and onboard new vendors and brand partners.
- Build strong partnerships with national brands, challenger brands, and private labels.
- Negotiate commercials, TOTs, margins, and annual business plans.
- Business Growth & Conversion Improvement
- Drive category GMV growth through pricing optimization, discoverability, and inventory availability.
- Work closely with marketing & product teams to maximize traffic, conversion & repeat rate.
- Lead initiatives on search, browse, merchandising, and on-site user journeys.
- Operations, Planning & Forecasting
- Collaborate with supply chain for demand planning, fill rate improvement, and reducing OOS.
- Improve availability metrics, fulfilment rates, and streamline onboarding processes.
- Monitor performance dashboards and deep-dive analytics for decision-making.
- Cross-Functional Leadership
- Work with marketing, finance, supply chain, and product teams on growth charters.
- Partner with finance for forecasting, budgeting, and quarterly business reviews.
- Ensure legal and compliance requirements for the category.
- Team Management (Optional — based on seniority)
- Lead and mentor category executives and managers.
- Drive high-performance culture and functional excellence across the team.
