Urgent Hiring || E Commerce Head || Mumbai
Location: Goregaon, Mumbai
Job Title: Category Head/Category Leader
Experience- 5+ years
Ctc- upto 15 Lpa (Depends on interview)
Working Days- 6 days (2nd & 4th Saturday off)
Key Responsibilities:
1. E-commerce Portal Management:
- Oversee the overall performance and optimization of e-commerce platforms to ensure seamless user experience and brand consistency.
- Manage product listings, promotions, and campaigns to maximize visibility and conversions.
2. Vendor Management:
- Manage existing vendors while onboarding new brands and partners to expand the product portfolio.
- Build and maintain strong vendor relationships, ensuring alignment on pricing, terms, and performance metrics.
3. Driving Sales Growth:
- Strategically drive both top-line revenue and bottom-line profitability by implementing effective pricing, promotional, and sales strategies.
- Set and achieve sales targets for specific categories through focused planning and execution.
4. Cost Profit Analysis & Budgeting:
- Conduct detailed cost-profit analysis to assess the financial viability of strategies and campaigns.
- Prepare and manage sales budgets, ensuring optimal allocation of resources for category performance.
5. Inventory Management & Order Processing:
- Monitor inventory levels to ensure availability while minimizing overstock and wastage.
- Oversee the end-to-end order processing cycle to meet customer expectations and delivery timelines.
6. Category Selection & Negotiation:
- Build and expand product selections while negotiating favorable terms with vendors.
- Develop pricing strategies that balance competitiveness with profitability.
7. Sales Deals & Market Implementation:
- Plan and execute sales deals, promotions, and seasonal campaigns to drive customer engagement and revenue growth.
- Implement these strategies effectively across online channels and markets.
8. Market Leadership & Strategic Positioning:
- Create and maintain a leading market position for assigned categories, driving customer loyalty and significant market share growth.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the unique positioning of new product offerings in the market.
9. Business Planning & Communication:
- Develop long-term business plans for specific categories, focusing on growth and innovation.
- Ensure effective communication of category strategies across internal teams and stakeholders.
10. Phase 2 Development:
- Support the development of new product offerings while ensuring differentiation and strategic market entry.
- Identify opportunities for innovation and growth in existing and emerging categories.
11. Negotiation & Financial Awareness:
- Lead negotiations with a strong understanding of commercial and financial principles to secure advantageous agreements.
- Analyze market trends to adapt strategies that maximize profitability and competitiveness.

- Proficient in MS-Office, especially in MS Excel and PowerPoint
- Excellent verbal and written English language skills, further languages are an advantage
