Role Description
The Category Buyer - Fashion Accessories role at IGP is a full-time, on-site position based in Mumbai. The role involves managing the fashion accessories category, developing and maintaining relationships with suppliers, and overseeing contract negotiations to ensure the best terms. Responsibilities also include analyzing market trends, monitoring inventory, and driving purchasing strategies that align with consumer demands and market dynamics.
Qualifications
- Strong expertise in Category Management with a focus on fashion accessories
- Proficiency in Supplier Negotiation and Purchasing strategies
- Excellent Analytical Skills for market trend analysis and decision-making
- Experience with Contract Negotiation to secure favorable terms and conditions
- Effective communication and relationship management abilities
- Familiarity with market trends in the fashion and lifestyle industry is an advantage
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Fashion, or a related field; advanced degree preferred
