Role Overview
The Category Expert role at Dainik Bhaskar, based in Jaipur, is a critical leadership position focused on driving revenue growth, market expansion, and category leadership across key verticals, primarily Education and Real Estate.
The incumbent will lead the assigned category in one of the key markets, working closely with leadership and cross-functional teams to strengthen market presence, unlock opportunities, and deliver sustainable revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities
- - Develop deeper category and audience understanding through market intelligence, competitive tracking, and consumer insights.
- Identify and develop new business opportunities across untapped market segments.
- Conceptualise and introduce innovative advertising solutions and sales initiatives
- Drive revenue generation through effective Advertisement selling within the assigned category.
- Increase market share and volume contribution for the category in the assigned market/region.
- Ensure optimum market penetration and achievement of revenue and collection targets.
- Build strong relationships and networks with advertisers, media agencies, planners, buyers, and digital/interactive marketing agencies.
- Build and maintain strong, long-term client relationships.
- Proactively address and resolve client concerns to ensure high customer satisfaction and retention.
- Mentor, guide, and develop team members to enhance capability and performance.
