Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Category Growth Lead located in Hyderabad. The role involves overseeing the management and expansion of assigned product or service categories, optimizing procurement strategies, analyzing market trends, managing vendor relationships, and negotiating contracts. The Category Growth Lead will work closely with teams to enhance category performance, collaborate on cross-functional projects, and drive growth initiatives in alignment with organizational goals.
About the Role
We are looking for a Category Growth Lead to own and scale key categories within our platform. This is a high-impact role focused on driving category growth, optimizing performance, and building strong vendor ecosystems.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and drive end-to-end category growth and performance
- Develop and execute category strategies aligned with business goals
- Analyze market trends, customer behavior, and performance metrics to unlock growth opportunities
- Optimize procurement strategies and vendor partnerships
- Lead contract negotiations to ensure favorable commercial terms
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (product, marketing, operations) to drive initiatives
- Manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while delivering results
What We’re Looking For
- 5+ years of experience in Category Management / Growth / Procurement roles
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to derive insights and drive decisions
- Proven expertise in vendor management and contract negotiations
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
- Experience in healthcare, e-commerce, or consumer businesses is a plus
Preferred Background
- Experience in leading product-based / consumer tech companies (e-commerce/digital-first)
- Strong academic background in Business, Supply Chain, or related fields
