HARI OM ELECTRONICS: CATEGORY BUSINESS HEAD (P&L OWNER)

The Mission: Turn a Product Category into a Profit Engine.
Location: ASHOK VIHAR, Delhi NCR (Head Office + 60% Field Presence)
Reporting to: Director (Mr Gaurav Juneja)
## THE CHALLENGE
We are not looking for a "manager" to watch over stock. We are looking for a Category CEO. You will be given a category (e.g., LED TVs or ACs), a budget, and a goal: Increase YoY sales and double the profit percentage. You are the bridge between aggressive brand negotiations and high-octane shop-floor execution.
## YOUR 4 CORE PILLARS OF RESPONSIBILITY1. Technical Mastery & Product Authority
- The Expert: You must be the "Technical Guru" of your category. You should know panel technologies, compressor efficiencies, and circuit-level differences better than the brand representatives.
- The Fixer: You are the final point of escalation for technical sales hurdles. You don't just tell staff to sell; you show them how to win the technical argument.
2. Growth Hacking & Market Agility
- Trend Spotting: You must identify trending models before the competition does. You win by being faster—ensuring the "hero models" are in stock and prominently displayed.
- Exclusive "Hari Om" Deals: You won't just take what brands offer. You will negotiate unique bundles, exclusive consumer offers, and backend schemes that make our prices untouchable.
3. Profit Architect & Margin Warrior
- High-Margin Focus: You are obsessed with the "Attach-Rate." You are responsible for driving Private Labels and Extended Warranties to push the net profit percentage sky-high.
- Procurement Mastery: Use your 5–12 years of industry contacts to slash landing costs. You are responsible for every rupee saved during procurement.
4. Working Capital & Inventory Command
- Zero Dead Stock: You own the aging report. If a product sits for more than 60 days, it is your personal mission to liquidate it.
- Capital Velocity: You manage the working capital for your category. You must ensure high inventory turns so that cash is never "stuck" in slow-moving boxes.
## THE DAY-TO-DAY EXPECTATIONS
- 60% Field Time: You aren't a desk person. You are at the outlets in Pitampura, Rohini, or Noida, training staff, auditing Visual Merchandising, and "fixing" underperforming stores.
- Digital Ownership: You own your category's digital presence. You write the "hooks" for WhatsApp Marketing and ensure the website landing page is technically perfect.
- Performance Reviews: You will present weekly "Sales vs. Profit" data directly to the Director, showing exactly how you are beating last year’s numbers.
## WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
- 5–12 years of experience in Consumer Electronics. EXPERT IN at least one of the categories of consumer electronics, such as air conditioners, LED tv, audio systems, washing machines, and so on
- Street Intelligence: You know the Delhi NCR market like the back of your hand.
- DNA: A mix of a Data Scientist (to manage capital) and a Street Fighter (to close brand deals and train sales staff).
- IMPORTANT -A person who has been working in a team leader position in consumer durable brands
