Role Summary:
The Catalogue Executive is responsible for creating, uploading, optimizing, and managing product listings across leading e-commerce marketplaces such as Myntra, Amazon, Flipkart, Ajio, and others. The role ensures accurate product representation, compliance with marketplace guidelines, improved search visibility, and strong catalogue performance to support sales and brand growth.
Key Responsibilities:
Catalogue Creation & Management
- Create, upload, and manage product listings across Myntra, Amazon, Flipkart, Ajio, and other marketplaces
- Enter and maintain accurate product details including titles, descriptions, specifications, images, pricing, SKUs, and keywords
- Manage bulk catalogue uploads using Excel/CSV templates provided by marketplaces
- Ensure correct product categorization and adherence to all marketplace guidelines and policies
Optimization & Performance
- Optimize product titles, descriptions, keywords, and attributes for SEO and improved organic search ranking
- Regularly audit the catalogue to identify and correct errors, gaps, suppressions, or compliance issues
- Resolve listing errors, quality flags, and policy violations in a timely manner
- Use marketplace tools and dashboards to monitor listing performance and identify improvement areas
Brand Content & Visual Coordination
- Support the creation and management of Amazon A+ Content (Enhanced Brand Content)
- Assist in creating and managing Amazon Brand Stores and Flipkart Brand Pages to improve brand visibility
- Coordinate with design teams to develop high-quality product images, lifestyle shots, infographics, and videos
Reporting & Analysis
- Track catalogue uploads, corrections, errors, and compliance status
- Prepare and share MIS reports on catalogue health, uploads, errors, and corrections
- Assist in competitor analysis and share insights with internal teams
- Prepare regular reports on sales performance, rankings, and listing effectiveness for management review
Skills & Competencies:
- Strong attention to detail and data accuracy
- Good understanding of e-commerce catalogue structures and marketplace requirements
- Proficiency in MS Excel (bulk uploads, data management)
- Basic knowledge of SEO and keyword optimization for marketplaces
- Strong coordination and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple listings and deadlines efficiently
Qualifications & Experience:
- Graduate in any discipline (Fashion, Retail, Commerce, or Management preferred)
- 1–3 years of experience in catalogue management or e-commerce operations
- Hands-on experience with Amazon Seller Central, Flipkart Seller Hub, Myntra Partner Portal, or similar platforms
