About the Role:
A Cataloguing Executive is responsible for managing and updating product listings on online platforms. The role involves ensuring accurate product information, optimizing listings for better visibility, and maintaining data quality across e-commerce marketplaces or company websites.
KRAs:
- Create and upload product listings on e-commerce platforms (e.g., Amazon, Flipkart, Shopify, etc.)
- Write clear and engaging product titles, descriptions, and bullet points
- Ensure accurate product categorization and tagging
- Edit and optimize product images (basic resizing, background correction, etc.)
- Maintain consistency in product data such as pricing, specifications, and SKUs
- Perform keyword research for SEO-friendly listings
- Update inventory and stock availability
- Monitor product performance and suggest improvements
- Coordinate with vendors, designers, and internal teams for content and data
- Ensure compliance with platform guidelines and policies
Required Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in any field (preferred: Marketing, Commerce, or IT)
- Basic knowledge of e-commerce platforms and listing tools
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Good knowledge of Shopify
- Familiarity with MS Excel / Google Sheets
- Basic understanding of SEO and keywords
- Image editing knowledge (Photoshop/Canva is a plus)
