We are now looking for a highly driven and academically strong Product Manager - CAT who can take complete ownership of the CAT vertical and drive its growth across academics, product, technology, marketing, sales, and student outcomes.
Role Overview:
We are looking for a passionate and highly accountable CAT Product Manager who will own the CAT product end-to-end. The individual will be responsible for managing the overall growth, execution, quality, and performance of the CAT segment.
The role requires a strong understanding of the CAT ecosystem, student psychology, MBA admissions landscape, and the ability to work cross-functionally with academic, marketing, tech, operations, sales, and content teams.
The ideal candidate must have personally appeared for CAT and should possess in-depth understanding of the exam structure, preparation strategy, mocks, sectional requirements, percentile benchmarks, and changing trends.
Key Responsibilities:
- Take complete ownership of the CAT product and oversee its overall growth, performance, execution, and student outcomes across academics, technology, marketing, sales, and operations.
- Manage end-to-end academic content planning, creation, quality checks, scheduling, uploading, and execution for CAT preparation, including mocks, sectional tests, practice material, assignments, live classes, study planners, and mentorship modules.
- Coordinate closely with faculty, content, tech, marketing, sales, operations, and student support teams to ensure seamless execution and delivery of the CAT product.
- Oversee app and dashboard management for the CAT segment, ensuring smooth functioning, timely content uploads, feature optimization, student engagement tracking, and overall user experience enhancement.
- Drive product strategy and execution by identifying student needs, market trends, competitor analysis, and opportunities to improve learning outcomes, engagement, retention, and conversions.
- Work with the marketing team on campaigns, launches, webinars, growth initiatives, and branding strategies to strengthen the CAT product positioning and drive enrollments.
- Collaborate with the sales team to improve product understanding, student communication, conversion strategies, pricing structures, and sales enablement processes.
- Monitor and analyze key performance metrics, including enrollments, retention, app engagement, student satisfaction, mock performance, and overall business growth, while implementing actionable improvements.
- Ensure timely execution of all academic and operational deliverables while maintaining high standards of quality, consistency, and student experience.
- Stay updated with CAT exam trends, pattern changes, percentile benchmarks, MBA admissions landscape, and student preparation behavior to continuously improve the product offering.
Candidate Requirements:
- 4-6 years of experience in Product Management, preferably in EdTech.
- Must have appeared for CAT and possess a strong end-to-end understanding of the examination.
- Prior experience in managing CAT/MBA entrance exam products will be highly preferred.
- Strong understanding of academic content workflows, app/product management, and student lifecycle management.
- Excellent coordination and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving ability.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and high-ownership environment.
- Strong communication, execution, and team management skills.
