Summary
RedAsh Films is hiring a Casting & Talent Manager for a full-time, office-based role in Andheri West, Mumbai. We are looking for an experienced professional with 3 to 5 years of background in casting and artist management.
You will handle casting for all our in-house projects (short and long formats across fiction and non-fiction) and manage our exclusive 1 in-house actor, with plans to expand the talent roster over time.

RedAsh Films is a Mumbai-based film production and ad agency operating across two distinct divisions—Entertainment (producing feature films, web shows, microdramas, and short films) and Enterprise (creating TV and digital ad films for corporate brands).
Key Responsibilities
1. In-House Casting
- Handle walk-in auditions and also call relevant artists to create a large and quality artist database for the company.
- Find relevant artists and stars for specific projects and negotiate their budget.
- Negotiate actor rates, handle contracts, and stay within casting budgets.
- Ensure no artist breaches contracts on or off set; if they do, take necessary action and find immediate replacement so that the project doesn’t go over budget or overtime.
2. Artist Management
- Manage the schedule and career pipeline for our 1 in-house artist (and onboard more talent in the future).
- Pitch our 1 in-house artist to external casting directors, agencies, and production houses.
- Negotiate fees with relevant organisations. Apart from the fixed salary, incentives will be paid on the projects brought for the in-house talent.
- Handle the social media presence and overall profile-building for the artist.
- Act as the main point of contact, helping the artist prep for auditions and managing their contracts.
Requirements & Skills
- 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience in casting, artist management, or agency representation within the film, TV, or web series space.
- Building strong networks with production houses and casting directors across Mumbai to manage in-house talent.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to negotiate contracts, rates, and schedules effectively.
- Highly systematic in managing audition files, databases, contracts, talent schedules, and look-test records.
- Strong creative judgement to assess acting skill, screen presence, dialogue delivery, and character fit requirements as per project brief.
